Why ''Mellba'Sind''?

People have asked me a lot: "How did you come up with the name of this brand?" Why Mellba? Does that mean anything?''

By the time I got to my final decision about this brand's name, it was actually only two attempts. Initially, I was sure that the brand would be "Sindi Design Equestrian", I kept it in my head as a good version for several months, but then I realized that something was missing. I didn't want the brand name to be based only on my name. I started thinking more deeply. I let this thought go and then, after a night's dream, I got up in the morning and realized that the name of my aunt's former business store "Melba" should be the basis of my brand. This person in my life means a lot to me, and I wanted my business to always remind me of her, who is actually the main sponsor of this business start.

To keep the name from not being completely the same, I added another L in the middle, and to include my personality, I added the first half of my name after the apostrophe, and then I knew it was the one! The brand name will never be changed again! :)

The slogan "equestrian", of course, as it should be for all equestrian sports brands. Although the brand with its products is considered "equestrian", but it can be bought and worn by all people, also non riders :D. The riding sport product can be distinguished only in the pants, because of their silicone seat, which is meant to avoid slide in the saddle. Other products - pants and leggings without silicone seats, shirts, jackets, vests, accessories, etc. can wear anyone.

When I researched the word "melba", I found out that it is a plant - the apple tree "Melba". Late summer variety. Apples are large, with red stripes, which are said to be very juicy, aromatic and with a pleasant sweet and sour taste.

Hello everybody and welcome to Mellba'Sind Equestrian!

I am very excited to finally announce this! It has been a pretty tough journey so far, but definitely one of the best of best parts of my life. It has taken some balancing and complicated managing between being a full time university student, stable life, my regular job and setting up a new business! A lot has been invested and so much more to come. In the nearest future we will introduce you to more and more products for both rider and horse. We have now developed a new material shirt that you will not find anywhere else. One month after the opening day, you can purchase the first product with a special price (our called ''getting to know'' price :D), which is indicated in the catalog next to the product itself! So don't be late and grab your first piece of this brand new shop right now! :)

Finally it is also in Latvia! We have seen and bought similar products from foreign brands so much, but now it's time to bring all that at my hometown with our own designs!

I think I have some kind of addiction of looking good in the saddle, and it doesn't even really matter that the horses don't care about my appearance. My motto is "looking good means feeling good!" And when a person feels good, he can do great things!''
